Cancellation and Deposit Policy

Our cancellation policy varies depending on your reservation type and whether your reservation falls on a holiday or special event. All cancellations must be made by phone during business hours. And cancellation-processing fees will also be charged on cancellations made outside of the cancellation window.

When you book your stay at Shelter Cove a 25% deposit is required for all guest stays.
Due to the remote location of the resort, we require a 30-day cancellation notice in advance to receive a refunded deposit less a processing fee. Cancellations within 24 hours of reservation will forfeit the entirety of the stay without refund.

RV, & Boat Slips:
30-day advance notice required or forfeiture of reservation’s deposit
Cancellation Processing Fee: $10

Cottages:
30-day advance notice required or forfeiture of reservation’s deposit
Cancellation Processing Fee: $25

Remaining balance will be charged 14 days in advance.
Boat rentals require a 100% deposit
